Terms of Service

A 7075 aluminium robot joint machined on a 5-axis centre at Zhuohang.

These terms govern quotation requests, engineering conversations, and any production work done by Dongguan Zhuohang Ltd Requesting a quote, sending a drawing, or placing an order counts as acceptance.

1. The supplier

Services are provided by Dongguan Zhuohang Ltd, USCC 91441900MA4UWT6X39, established 2005, located at No. 8, Shuibian Songyuan Road, Hengli Town, Dongguan, Guangdong, China 523470. Sales contact: Felipe Iglesias, +86 13126536955, [email protected].

2. What we do, and what we don't

We provide CNC machining (3, 4, and 5 axis milling and turning), precision grinding, mill-turn, and related secondary operations on metal and engineering plastics. We hold ISO 9001:2015 (No. 116024/A/0001/UK/En), IATF 16949:2016 (No. 131941/A/0001/SM/En, scope excludes product design under Clause 8.3), and ISO 14001:2015 (No. 116024/B/0001/UK/En). A logo is not an audit — every certificate number above is verifiable with the registrar.

We do not offer instant online pricing. Every quote is reviewed by the engineers who will run the part, and returned in writing with a feasibility check before any deposit is asked for. This is what we believe a real design-for-manufacturing review should look like.

3. Quotations

A quotation is valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. It states: material, process, tolerance class, surface finish, lead time, MOQ, Incoterms, currency, and validity. It does not commit to delivery until a purchase order is accepted in writing by us. Pricing is built per part — we will not match a quote that omits a process step.

4. Buyer responsibilities

you are responsible for: providing drawings and tolerances that reflect functional intent, declaring end-use and any regulated industry (medical, aerospace, automotive), confirming material and certificate requirements, and supplying Incoterms and shipping destination. If a drawing is ambiguous, we will ask before cutting, and that question is part of the DFM review, not a delay.

5. Tolerances and quality

Standard capability: ±0.003 mm CNC milling, ±0.002 mm CNC turning, ±0.002 mm precision grinding, verified on Hexagon CMMs. Process capability is reported per characteristic: every report names the feature, tolerance band, sample size, sigma method, and study window, against an initial-study target of Ppk ≥ 1.67 on key characteristics and a production target of Cpk ≥ 1.33. Values between 1.33 and 1.67 require customer review and acceptance; we do not call them "passing" without that review.

6. Lead times

Indicative lead times are rough (3, 7, or 30 days) and depend on part complexity, the number of process steps, and material availability. A confirmed lead time is part of the written quotation; until then, no production slot is reserved.

7. Payment

First orders: 50% deposit on PO acceptance, balance before shipment. Repeat orders: net 30 from a confirmed account, subject to credit review. Payment is by T/T unless otherwise agreed. We do not ask for full prepayment on a first order without a documented quotation.

8. Shipping, customs, and duties

Unless DDP is quoted, you are the importer of record and is responsible for duties, customs clearance, and any destination compliance. For U.S. buyers, metal CNC parts are subject to Section 232 duties and, where applicable, Section 301 duties; we will state the assumption in the quote. For EU buyers, CBAM may apply to certain metal categories — flag it and we will route the calculation to the right party.

9. Intellectual property

Drawings, models, and specifications you send remain your property. We do not reuse them for other customers or quote them as references without written consent. We may show a generic process capability (not your part) in our public portfolio only with separate written approval.

10. Export control

We will not ship to end-uses or end-users prohibited under U.S. EAR, EU dual-use regulations, Chinese export-control lists, or applicable sanctions programs. We will request end-use statements where a part's specification touches controlled categories, and decline orders we cannot clear.

11. Limitation of liability

Our liability for any single order is limited to the invoice value of that order, except for cases of gross negligence, willful misconduct, or infringement of your intellectual property. We do not exclude liability for personal injury caused by our negligence where law forbids such exclusion.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes are resolved by arbitration at the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), South China Sub-Commission, in Shenzhen, in English, unless we agree otherwise in writing. We are open to direct discussion first — most issues are manufacturing questions, not legal ones.

13. Changes to these terms

Material changes are dated in the footer. An order placed under a prior version is governed by that version; we will not retroactively narrow your rights on an existing PO.

Export compliance: we track the current US Section 301 / Section 232 duty positions and the EU CBAM reporting requirements for the HS codes we ship, so your landed cost stays a number you can plan on. Duty and tariff figures change; ask us for the position on your specific HS code at quote time.
